Lower Limb Orthotics
Our lower limb orthotics involves custom molded Ankle Foot Orthoses,(afo) high-tech carbon composite or traditional metal uprights. Our Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (kafo) can also be custom molded plastic or carbon composite, with metal uprights, or with leather cuffs. We also offer the new Myo-Electric Walk Aid nerve stimulating assistive device to help with gait.
Arizona Brace
Our leather Arizona AFO's are great for ankle instability. We can customize color, like the jeans blue leather design shown. These AFO's fit into shoes well.
Clark Orthotic & Prosthetics will design and make yours to your specific needs. We can use lace, or velcro or combination closures. Patients can choose specifics for one arm donning for post-stroke or hemiplegia. The height up your leg can vary to meet your stabilization and cosmetic goals. Sure Steps AFO'S
These thin, malleable plastic afo's work wonders on young users and beginning walkers with pronated feet or calcaneal valgus. Children can choose from many different plastic colors and designs and their own strap colors. The children love to wear their favorite sport design or flowers. Plastic AFO's
Custom plastic AFO's are fabricated at our facility and can be available within 24 hours. Custom AFO's are great for drop foot, arthritis, DJD and traumatic ankle or foot injuries. We can use many colors of plastic to blend in with clothes or uniforms or logos for sports teams.
An UNLOADING AFO works well for CHARCOT joints and trauma. It allows the wearer to still wear a shoe while protecting the joint.
KAFO
CLARK ORTHOTIC & PROSTHETIC SERVICES, INC. custom makes a variety of long leg braces. This blue one pictured provides stability while allowing the wearer to put weight on his leg. The knee joints will allow one to walk with a bent knee, and gradually stretch the knee when wearing while sleeping. Wearers say it prevents the knee from buckling and gives them hope to be independent.
METAL KAFO's still are great options for individuals with little or no feeling. When attached to a diabetic shoe, this KAFO works well for diabetic neuropathy with knee deformity.
